Cafe Rio Pulled Pork Recipe (I used Beef)

Cafe Rio - Pulled Pork

3 lbs pork roast 1 tsp salt

1 cup dark brown sugar 1 tsp chili powder

1 cup Worcestershire sauce 2 TB minced onions

1 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp powdered ginger

Cook in a crock pot all day on low heat. One hour before serving, discard juice and shred pork. Then add 1 cup dark brown sugar and 1 cup red enchilada sauce. Serve in a salad or as pork enchiladas.

I used light brown sugar and still tasted pretty darn good! You can also use Chicken or Beef with this recipe.

  1. so yummy. We had these the other night and they were delicious. We loved them. Did you really use that much sugar? And what is the enchilada sauce? I think that beef is the right choice for this recipe. Thanks Andrea!
